The Dudes

Duda is made up of an eclectic mix of passionate, can-do individuals with a shared vision that the web has an almost infinite capacity to create better, more meaningful connections between people.

Itai Sadan

Itai Sadan   Co-Founder & CEO

Itai Sadan founded Duda to help small businesses connect with potential customers anywhere, anytime and anyplace. Itai started the company from his garage in Mountain View, CA, with his high school friend, Amir Glatt, who is now CTO. In 2008 they both noticed how the Internet was shifting towards mobile and the need for small businesses to create mobile optimized sites to attract customers on the go. Since then, in addition to offering their mobile-only solution, the company has evolved to also offer an all-in-one responsive website builder for agencies and small businesses alike.

Itai's mobile web and small business website expertise has been cited by USA Today, Website Magazine, The Huffington Post, Mobile Entertainment and more. He speaks regularly on the local, mobile and social space at industry events hosted by such organizations as BIA Kelsey, Constant Contact, Local Search Association and the Israeli Conference.

Prior to founding Duda, Itai was a director at SAP where he managed the SAP Discovery System program and was in charge of relationships with IBM, HP and Fujitsu. At age 21, he also founded InterSight, a start-up for data storage. Itai has a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Ben Gurion in Israel.

“Duda” is a varitation of “Dude,” which is the main character in one of Itai and Amir’s favorite movies of all time, The Big Lebowski.

Itai’s favorite quote from the film is: "Well, sir, it's this rug I had. It really tied the room together."

Amir Glatt   Co-Founder & CTO

Amir Glatt brings over 14 years of product management, software architecture expertise and large development team management to Duda. Beginning as Duda’s sole developer and engineer, Amir is the original mind behind the company's one of a kind platform. In 2010 he returned to Tel Aviv from California to open and oversee a new research and development office. Under Amir’s leadership, this team has grown to include over 30 highly-qualified engineers and product managers.

Prior to founding Duda, Amir worked for SAP where he conceived and managed the development of the company’s collaborative portal, a next generation Web 2.0 enterprise portal. Prior to that, Amir worked for several startup companies including Checkm8 and Adwise. Amir has a BSc in Computer Science & Mathematics from the Ben Gurion University in Israel.

His favorite quote from The Big Lebowski is: “You’re not wrong, Walter. You’re just an *sshole.”
